A post to post to see where posts post

Since this is a test of sorts, let's start with a cat picture.

This is Oliver de Carabas Co-cat. He is lying on a 40"x28" dog bed, meant for large dogs. He is demonstrating the feline ability to expand to fit all available space. He is a loungy cat, a louche cat, a Kipling cat who walks where he pleases.

We have had many cats over the years: Agostino, Chutzpah, Gopher, Lester Maddox Jr., Fritz, Chukar, Pizzaria Pepperoni Alderino, Patches, Sniffer, Mouse and Misty. I think that's all. As you can see, there is no universal naming scheme for our cats. Oliver is by far the most independent of our cats, the most remote.

And probably the heaviest!

  1. How did I leave out Apollo? A wonderful cat, rehomed from my nephew Ben.

  2. I love naming my cats, remembering the ones who are gone, thinking about their nicknames. Cats bring joy.
